The Wii U-exclusive Director's Cut is being ported with Straight Right, an Australian studio who worked on the Wii U edition of Mass Effect 3. "Straight Right has been very proactive to propose new ideas because they were used to the Wii U platform," executive producer David Anfossi says in the trailer.

You'll see that in how much the GamePad is used for, well, anything that doesn't involve looking at the back of Adam Jensen's head--hacking, e-mails, inventory, sniping, and all that jazz.

What you really want to do is skip to around 1:58 in the video for a peek at the reworked boss fights, which can now be beaten in was other than simply shooting faces with your gun.

The Director's Cut launches for Wii U "later this year." Sadly, all its fancy updates and shiny new features won't come back to other platforms.

I think it's awesome Eidos is putting more work into this title and addressing fan feedback, I DO NOT think it's awesome that it is not being offered on all platforms.

Even as a "DLC" to cover the costs I would buy it.

Agreed. I'm actually surprised they haven't announced something about bringing the brand new stuff to other platforms.

Agreed - I would also pay money for this. I'm immensely disappointed to hear this isn't coming to PC.

Eidos generally are doing a fantastic job lately. Would be great if they could break away from the shit show that is square again.

There willing to rebuild the boss fights just for the Wii U and all that work if been done on a PC version thats been ported over would take all most no time or money to patch it on to the PC but fuck that.

The boss fights were not that bad, they didn't ruin the game. It was a great game.

I think they may head that way eventually. Similar to what they're doing with Planet of the Apes. It's all a reboot, but they just haven't gotten there yet and they're playing off what you already know instead of reestablishing the franchise with the remake of the first. I dig that angle. Hopefully they go for it. I don't want it to be the next game though. I hope they do something else to bridge it.

part of me would like that. But part would not like the inevitable leaving of Adam to go to JC. I've already seen JCs story (and loved it to be sure, I use a JCDenton skin in Minecraft ffs).

No need to show me this. I had it pre-ordered a while ago.
