Hardcore MMORPG Darkfall: Unholy Wars sort of launched in November, but that was only a soft-ish, beta-y launch. Yesterday it actually, properly, really launched. If you fancy an MMO that won't give you a hand up or hand-out, simply giving you enough rope to feel like you're great, then running out to show off your cool rope to everyone then getting brutally murdered by another player for your rope, this may be up your street.
Unholy Wars began life as a huge patch intended to hit Darkfall Online in 2010, but over the years has grown and morphed into something which can stand on its own two feet.
You can buy it direct from developer Aventurine for $39.95, which includes a 30-day subscription. Beyond that, subscription fees are $14.95 per month. It's due to hit various download stores "in the days and weeks to come" too.
