Media Molecule's first game since leaving the LittleBigPlanet franchise will be available later this year. Tearaway is a Vita-exclusive title set in a world of papercraft that promises to take advantage of all the system's unique features. It will be available at retail and on PlayStation Network on October 22nd.

Lead designer Rex Crowle has some choice words about the game in this new video from the PlayStation.Blog. It also contains some gameplay footage. Take a gander:

    It's one of the few Vita games that look like it can't be done on PS3.

  This game looks pretty legit. Hopefully they have a ton of levels, and maybe even some user creation aspect.
