Electronic Arts has decided to mark the holiday weekend with a sale on its iOS and Android apps, so you can complement your chocolate bunnies and hard-boiled eggs with some games. More than 55 games have been discounted, including some that normally go for $9.99 going for 99 cents.

A few notable apps from the sale list include Battlefield: Bad Company 2 on iPhone and iPad, Command and Conquer: Red Alert on iPad, Dead Space on iPhone and iPad, The Sims 3, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, and a variety of sports and Need for Speed titles. Check out the full list and plan which ones you'll drop a fin on.

Even if sarcastic, people complain they never have sales like Steam, then they do a have a sale and people complain haha

Only because EA are a huge bunch of hypocrites. People asked why they dont like Steam sales, they say regular sale events devalues their IP's. Then they have seasonal sale events.

Well they did include Real Racing 2, aka the nearly-as-good Real Racing 3 but for a flat fee of $0.99 instead of microtransaction bullshit.

It is. I don't see why that's funny though.

Downloaded the Theme Park game. Had no less than ten popuos asking me to buy microtransaction tickets within the first five minutes of playing. Nope.

Was it different stuff on each day or something?

When I click the link, it only shows 7 titles (google play) and 3 of them were f2p anyway, it was a discount on items... =/

When I checked Dead Space specifically on the Google store, it didn't come up as on sale...
