Marvel Heroes releasing June 4, early access May 28
by Steve Watts, Mar 22, 2013 2:30pm PDTGazillion Entertainment announced at its PAX East panel that early access to Marvel Heroes will be available on May 28th, with the full launch following on June 4. The panel also gave details on PvP, end-game content, and an expansion to the closed beta access.
Gazillion also announced that PvP will be available at launch, and the experience gained in PvE matches will transfer to PvP, and vice-versa. It is also planning end-game content in the form of "Ultimate Power," special abilities customized to each hero that are gained after finishing the story mode once. Those powers can then be leveled up by spending duplicate Hero tokens.
The Founders Program is ongoing, and closed beta access--which used to be reserved for the $180 Ultimate Pack--has now been expanded to the $60 Premium Pack as well.
