Dragon Quest X listed by French retailer
by Steve Watts, Mar 20, 2013 2:00pm PDTAfter an extended silence, we finally have some indication that Dragon Quest X is coming to the west. A French retailer has listed the Wii U version of the game, marking our best bet at getting the game since it was announced for Japan in 2011.
Amazon France (via Joystiq) listed the game, but still uses Japanese screenshots. Dragon Quest X is set to release in Japan on March 30, but so far Square Enix has not mentioned plans for North America or Europe. A retail listing in Europe means an announcement could be on its way.
Even if an announcement comes soon, though, we may have to wait a while for it to reach us. Dragon Quest games tend to take roughly a year between the Japanese release and their US counterparts. Shacknews will update as more information becomes available.
