Co-op puzzler Tiny Brains coming from Assassin's Creed vets

A group who've worked on series including Assassin's Creed and Army of Two have split away from Big Video Games and set up indie studio Spearhead Games, today revealing their first game Tiny Brains. Given that the credentials they boast of revolve around stabbing and/or shooting men in the face, it's perhaps surprising that Tiny Brains is a co-op action-puzzler starring strange creatures escaping from a lab.

A group of developers who have worked on franchises such as Assassin's Creed and Army of Two have split away from Big Video Games and set up indie studio Spearhead Games, today revealing their first game Tiny Brains. Given that the credentials they boast of revolve around stabbing and/or shooting men in the face, it's perhaps surprising that Tiny Brains is a co-op action-puzzler starring strange creatures escaping from a lab. As so often happens nowadays, a scientist has been tinkering with animals' bodies, giving four little mammals powers: force, vortex, teleport, and create. Rather than thanking the scientist, the selfish creatures use their newfound abilities to escape. This is where you and your three chums come in, using their physics-based powers together to solve puzzles. Spearhead was founded by Assassin's Creed III design director Simon Darveau, AC2 and Dead Space 3 designer Malik Boukhira, and former Army of Two franchise director Atul Mehra. I guess they'd had their fill of murder for a while. Tiny Brains is coming "later this year" for download on unannounced platforms.

Gee, what do you want to do tonight?
