Battlefield 3 trailer shows off 'End Game'

A new trailer for Battlefield 3's "End Game" DLC features lead designer Niklas Fegraeus explaining and showing off the new maps and vehicles.

Battlefield 3 is preparing to wrap up it season of downloadable content this month, with the release of "End Game." To promote the DLC, EA and DICE have released a new trailer featuring lead designer Niklas Fegraeus explaining and showing off the new maps and vehicles.

We already knew the pack will add four new maps and several vehicles, but this trailer gives us a better look at each of them: Sabalan Pipeline, Nebandan Flats, Operation Riverside, and Kiasar Railroad, each themed after a season. Plus, Fegraeus details the the cruel (but funny) tactic of dropping C4 on a tank while jumping it on a motorbike. Evel Knievel would be proud.

    I am sure the new BF3 expansion will be fun to play every now for quick fun. That said I agree with you on Planetside2 the difference in teamwork is almost night and day. Probably has something to do with integrated voip and tools to help focus the squads to where they need to go.

  After the shack server was canceled I haven't played the game once. I would rather go back to BFBC2.

    Big 12 on 12 dogfight....HAHA I guess he never played the No Fly Zone map back in Desert Combat that had 32 vs 32....its that kind of arrogance from Dice that has ruined Battlefield, thank God for Planetside 2

      That's big in the console sense as their maxplayers = 24
      
      PC servers may have larger player counts for that mode but it still depends on how many planes actually spawn on the map. I doubt it's infinite so 24 may in fact be the max.

        I just hope they scale air superiority mode better than they did for the tank superiority mode in armored kill. On 32-64 player servers there wasn't enough vehicles for every one. I have a feeling it will be scaled for 24 players again.

      No Fly Zone was huge and had more than enough planes and helicopters for all of the players. I bet in End Game there's going to be 12 of one type of plane per team and there's going to be 20+ players standing around waiting for a plane on PC.

    Speak for yourself. I've loved BF3 for the past year. Me and 3 other mates get on a few nights a week and have some amazing games. Looking forward to BF4 with in game voip and commander mode.
