ROM City Rampage (8-bit Retro City Rampage demake) coming tomorrow
by Andrew Yoon, Feb 27, 2013 4:00pm PSTRetro City Rampage is finally making its long-awaited appearance on Wii tomorrow. However, the WiiWare version of the game comes with a unique bonus: ROM City Rampage, an 8-bit demake of the game.
The entire game had to be rewritten to fit the limitations of an 8-bit experience. However, a new video explains the process behind making the game meet NES spec. Apparently, it involves much more than just throwing some files into WinZIP.
ROM City Rampage will also be available on PC through a free update. Watch this video (via Joystiq) and marvel at how smart developer Brian Provinciano really is.
