Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag features pirates, leaked marketing materials reveal

However, the cat may have been let out of the bag early thanks to leaked marketing materials. A poster shows the title as "Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag," and features an assassin surrounded by pirates.
The poster, sent to Kotaku from an anonymous tipster, isn't set to be put up in stores until March 4, which may mean the reveal is close-by. This also more-or-less matches a Reddit user who claimed to have seen the title ("Black Flags") in a PowerPoint presentation that was being worked on by a woman sitting in front of him.
If real, AC4 could expand upon the well-received sailing portions of Assassin's Creed 3. We'll update as more information becomes available.
