PlayStation 4, The Witness - Shacknews Daily: February 22, 2013
by Ryan Calavano, Feb 22, 2013 5:00pm PSTExpect all sorts of games to appear on PS4. Sony's Jack Tretton says that the games will range in price from what you might expect on mobile to standard console pricing. "We're going to welcome free-to-play models, games from 99 cents up to those $60 games," he said. Then, the DualShock 4 bears a lot in common with its predecessors, with a few tweaks like the touch pad and dedicated Share button. And while Sony isn't quite ready to call it the final design, it's close. Finally, The Witness is coming to PlayStation 4 as a timed console exclusive. Given the pedigree of creator Jonathan Blow, you may think that Sony paid out for the exclusivity, but Blows says it was just a matter of the team's resources and preferences.
