Humble Bundle Mojam 2 launches for charity
by Steve Watts, Feb 20, 2013 12:30pm PSTThe Humble Bundle Mojam is appearing to be a yearly tradition. After launching the first game jam in February 2012, the operation is back in swing this week, producing another six games over the course of about three days.
The Bundle includes multiple developers all working simultaneously: Mojang, Grapefrukt, Ludosity, Oxeye Game Studio, Vlambeer, and Wolfire Games. You'll get access to all six game experiments for a name-your-own price point. All proceeds go to charity. You can split your funds as you like between the Electronic Frontier Foundation and Block by Block, a collaboration between Mojang and UN Habitat to involve youth in urban planning. You can check out the site to flip through live webcam feeds of each team.
Last year, the collaboration raised more than $450,000 for charity. With more developers involved and a longer window, this one may be able to top that record.
