BlizzCon returning November 8-9
by Steve Watts, Feb 19, 2013 6:00pm PSTAfter a year hiatus, Blizzard has announced the dates for 2013's BlizzCon event. This year it will take place on November 8-9, at the Anaheim Convention Center as per usual. The announcement didn't include ticket availability or pricing, but did remind fans that tickets tend to go quickly once they're up for sale.
The announcement teased the usual suite of activities, including hands-on time with recent Blizzard games, eSports, developer and artist panels, and competitive and casual tournaments. As Heart of the Swarm's launch is just around the corner, it's probably a safe bet that the festivities will include plenty of StarCraft love.
"BlizzCon gives us a chance to connect with our players and share our latest projects in a very personal way," said CEO Mike Morhaime, in the announcement. "Members from all of our gaming communities have helped make this event bigger and better every time, and we look forward to meeting up and celebrating with them in November."
