Final Fantasy X HD video shows off Vita's remastered graphics
by Andrew Yoon, Feb 18, 2013 7:30pm PSTBack in 2011, Square Enix announced an HD remake of Final Fantasy X. And then, it disappeared.
Lo and behold, Square Enix has decided to remind the world that the game still exists at a recent Vita-focused press conference. Square Enix's Shinji Hashimoto showed off the game running on a Vita, whilst apologizing for the game's lengthy disappearance. According to Polygon, the game is expected to release in Japan "soon." (Whatever that means to Square Enix.)
Although the upcoming PS3/Vita game is simply a "remaster," and not a remake, Square Enix promised "much more beautiful" visuals than before. Take a look at this screenshot from the original PS2 game and then compare it to this newly released video:

It would be cool to *finish* the game in HD (if you're like me and never got around to it), or to play it in a 'new game+' fashion =]
