Could someone help sell me on the 3DS? I'm tempted to pick one up, i've heard theres some really good jrpg's and turn based strategy games, not to mention games like Super Mario 3D Land and OOT 3D.

I'm also tempted to get a PS3 so not sure yet lol.

You kind of already said it yourself. It has some great games already: Ghost Recon (plays like X-Com), Super Mario 3D Land (one of the best Mario games I've played), OOT, Fire Emblem and Monster Hunter 3 coming out in a little while. And there is only more coming in the future. It's a good system which a lot of promise in the future (which is more than can be said for the Vita - which is maybe even a better system but with zero future).

Mario Kart 7 is also good. Pushmo and Mighty Switch Force from the the e-shop are nice. It has virtual console, so you can play a lot of NES and Gameboy games on the road. I definitely haven't regretted purchasing the 3DS.

DAMN! I just bought an XL last week! I haven't registered it yet though. If I buy one of those games but don't register both until March 21st, would this apply to me?
