Smite now in open beta

Tribes: Ascend developer Hi-Rez's Dota 'em up Smite entered open beta yesterday, with the twists of controlling more like a regular third-person action game and boasting a lineup of real, actual, live, living gods and mythological creatures.
To play, simply register an account and download the client, and away you go! Accounts from the closed beta haven't been wiped, and all progress from the open beta will carry over when Smite officially launches, which is due to be by the end of March.
