The speculation continues to build over exactly what plans Bethesda has in the works for the Fallout series. Last week, it was possibly Fallout 4 or a movie. This week, it appears to be a TV show of some sort, based on a trademark the publisher filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Filed on January 8, the application, (via Eurogamer), says the request is for "Entertainment services in the nature of an on-going television program set in a post-nuclear apocalyptic world."

Bethesda is mum on the project so far, but this could very well be the thing that voice actor Erik Todd Dellums was talking about when he tweeted that he might be reprising his role as Fallout 3's Galaxy News Radio host Three Dog. He had permission to tease his role, so Bethesda obviously wants the rumor mill to continue to swirl.

Update: Of course, this registration could end up being moot. Bethesda did the same antics back in 2009 for a Fallout TV series--and obviously, nothing has been borne of that trademark yet.

I could see this being interesting, given the setting. I am optimistic of its potential but I still want a fallout 4.
