Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance demo next week
by Alice O'Connor, Jan 15, 2013 6:45am PSTKonami released the Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance demo ages ago exclusively to people who bought the Zone of the Enders HD Collection, but now has a pegged a firm date for its proper release. Come January 22, all and sundry on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 will get to enjoy a slice of the stab-happy Metal Gear Solid spin-off.
The demo packs a virtual reality tutorial section, showing Raiden how to cut things into tiny pieces, along with a mission from early on in the campaign. You'll get to sneak and stab your way through city streets, taking on mercenaries and Gekko robots, and enjoy a robowolf boss battle.
Developer PlatinumGames confirmed the demo date on its blog. Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is slated for release on February 19.
