Fire Emblem blue 3DS bundle announced for the US
by Andrew Yoon, Jan 11, 2013 9:45pm PSTNintendo of America doesn't always bring special edition systems to America. However, they've decided that Fire Emblem Awakening is deserving of one.
The US bundle is identical to the one released in Japan: a "Cobalt Blue" system that has a special insignia on it. According to the packaging, the bundle includes a copy of the game pre-installed on the system--meaning you won't be able to trade the game back to GameStop once you're done.
Unfortunately, it appears the system will be available as an original 3DS only, and won't come in the XL variant. No price has been announced, but previous bundles have launched for either the same price as the base model ($170), or at a slight premium ($200).
