Far Cry 3's PlayStation 3 exclusive co-op downloadable content will be coming next week. The "High Tides" pack will hit the PlayStation Store on Tuesday, January 15, for the super-low price of zero dollars.

The date was given on the PlayStation Blogcast (via Joystiq). As previously reported, this content will add two new chapters called Jailbreak and Redemption, which show the epilogue of the cooperative campaign. It promises tougher fights, so if you scoffed at the challenge in the other episodes, this one might prove more of a challenge.

FC3 coop was broken as hell on PS3 so I find this pretty funny. Maybe it will come with exclusive bug fixes too.

Why would you ever make DLC PS3-exclusive? Do you hate money?

They were paid to make it exclusive. So to answer your question.. yes, they love money.

Yeah but if it sells like shit (and
It will definitely sell less than on the other platforms) they won't be paid to make other DLC.

I sure hope all the DLC isn't entirely for Multiplayer/Coop. But I've got a feeling it will be.
