Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 will be hitting the links on March 26, EA announced today. It will feature Kinect and Move support, and historical events spanning all four major tournaments: the Masters, the US Open, the Open Championship, and the PGA Championship.

The game will be banking on history in general, letting you play against influential golfers like Seve Ballesteros, Ben Hogan, Bobby Jones, Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Gary Player, Sam Snead, Lee Trevino, and obviously, Tiger Woods. Defeating these power players will earn your own character a spot among the "Legends" of the game. You'll even dress like a classic golfer in different eras, so you can look a time-appropriate kind of silly.

The game features 20 courses in all, 35 golfers, night golfing, customized swings, 24-player multiplayer, and the return of Country Clubs. It also adds the LPGA, including five female golfers and the Kraft Nabisco Championship. It will make use of the Season Ticket program, letting subscribers get access to the game three days before launch.

As detailed on the official site, retailer-specific pre-order bonuses include a Pinehurst No. 2 course (GameStop), Bethpage Black course (Amazon), 1986 Jack Nicklaus (Best Buy), Kevin Love and Andy Roddick (Target), Whistling Straits course (Wal-Mart), and a set of historic clubs (Origin).

the only reason I got 13 was because of the pricing fuck up at Target and I really didnt play as much as normal. There would need to be some big changes this year to pull me back in. :(

Generally a sports game will last me 2-3 years at minimum. I am still not finished with Masters 12.

Do not get the latest PC version. It's just a reworked Tiger Woods Online.

which was actually pretty fun for a while until they added in the store to nickel and dime you to death. It was great being able to play in the browser from anywhere and resume a round from a different location,

The multiplayer component in this retail PC version was said to be a 3 month subscription to that nickel and diming Tiger Woods Online. Pretty ridiculous, they ended up giving out a lot of refunds.

They need to keep that retro colour fading in the screenshots (as an option) for gameplay. That'd be hilarious.

Also, remember when something as simple as modding a game to add a few new player models was something the community did and we didn't buy a whole new game for...
