Final Fantasy XI 'Seekers of Adoulin' coming March 26
by Steve Watts, Dec 27, 2012 4:00pm PSTAs you wait for Final Fantasy XIV to relaunch, Square Enix might tempt you back to its older MMORPG. Final Fantasy XI is getting the "Seekers of Adoulin" expansion on the PC and Xbox 360 next year, on March 26.
Adoulin will add two new job classes: Geomancers who harness elemental energies, and Rune Fencers to use arcane spells on their blades. It will also feature player-built outposts, new contract work, and "power spots" to find and enhance your abilities. The expansion will cost $29.99 by itself, or $39.99 for an "Ultimate Collection Seekers Edition" that includes the game, four previous expansion packs, three add-on scenarios, and three battle area add-ons.
The story revolves around the city Adoulin, a large seaside metropolis with nearby jungles to explore. Check out the trailer below for more detail.
