But if you've been banned from the kitchen by your real mother, you can at least cook some sumptuous dishes with a fake one. Cooking Mama Seasons has gone free-to-play on iOS, letting you sample some of the recipes for free.
The free app includes two recipes from the start (Hamburger Stewed in Tomato Sauce and French Fries), and others can be unlocked using "Mama Stamps" collected in the game. If you're the impatient type, you could plunk down $6.99 for the "Pro" version that comes with 17 recipes ready to play from the start. The game has a total of 25 recipes in all, but developer Taito promises monthly updates themed around popular foods for kids and nearby holidays.
