The peek at Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13 reveals Lightning will be bouncing around a very European city in some outlandish garb. If you didn't know better, you might swear you were looking at a JRPG take on Assassin's Creed.
Lightning Returns is "world-driven," Square Enix has said, and she'll be changing things as she adventures. The world also has simulated time which controls characters' actions. People will lunch at noon, for example, and monsters will be more common at night.
Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13 is slated to launch on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in 2013.
