Guardians of Middle-Earth adds Hobbit DLC, map skin
by Steve Watts, Dec 14, 2012 2:00pm PSTWhile you prepare your floppy wigs and furry feet to go see The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, you can amuse yourself with some movie-themed downloadable content for the console MOBA Guardians of Middle-Earth. Two new characters have been made available for purchase today, along with a free map skin for all players.
Bilbo Baggins and Bert the Troll are downloadable for $2 (160 MSP) apiece. Bilbo is the lead character of the new movie and serves as a Striker-type Guardian. Bert is one of the three trolls Bilbo meets on his quest, and is a Tactician-type Guardian. You can also grab a Shire map skin to make everything look a little more lush and green. Check out our review for more details on the game.
