Dead or Alive 5 Plus, the Vita port of Team Ninja's latest fighter, is coming on on March 19. Yes, this spring you can treat yourself to some alarmed stares on the bus for publicly playing a game that prides itself on jiggle physics and lovingly rendered string bikinis.

Tecmo gave the date on its official site (via Joystiq). The port will let you use touch controls to trigger moves with taps and swipes, and if you hold the Vita vertically you can get a full-screen, first-person view of your opponent. That doesn't sound extremely helpful for a fighting game, but it might be a neat feature regardless.

Is this game hard? I'm awful at fighting games and don't play them online because of that, but I like them anyway. However, I don't get a lot of play time out of them if all the cool unlockables are hidden behind BEAT SUPER EXTREME FACEDEATH DIFFICULTY WITH ONE BUTTON requirements.

The Vita has become such a beast for fighters. I love it, and I love me some DoA5.
