The Last of Us pre-order bonuses revealed
by Andrew Yoon, Dec 09, 2012 8:15pm PSTIn case you missed the news at the VGAs, Naughty Dog's The Last of Us will be hitting PS3 on May 7th. And, as part of its membership of the AAA video game club, it needs to be bundled with pre-order bonuses. Reservations at "participating retailers" will entitle you to the "Sights and Sounds Pack," which includes the game's official soundtrack, a PS3 dynamic theme featuring the box art (pictured above), and two PSN avatars.
Pre-ordering at GameStop will net you the aforementioned bonus as well as the "Survival Pack," which includes bonuses for the game's not-yet-revealed multiplayer mode. You'll get bonus XP, a melee attack booster, in-game cash, and special skins for multiplayer and single-player.

I’m quite certain they were banking on its being a big Autumn hit for them. And then it received a worldwide panning, with the lowest mark most major sites and mags seem to be able to use – 5 – all over the place. Its Metacritic score has settled at an average of 54. You can bet your bum they were grateful for every pre-order that came in, every person who invested their cash long before they could be warned."
