        Exactly. I consumed several demon souls until about halfway through my first play-through because I had no idea you could use them to craft new weapons and spells. I also didn't know that you had to give Flamelurker's soul to the world 2 blacksmith in order to forge said weapons and spells in the first place.
        
        All sorts of esoteric stuff that I would have preferred to have explained to me. Those explanations would have enhanced my enjoyment of that first play-through, not hurt it.
