          that I would have preferred to have explained to me. but how? codex drops or through NPC conversation? now that we see it's going to be opened up to the masses, the formula is going to change. if so, it has to change SLOWLY. I mean ye olde adventure games there's tons of shit you don't know about but it's there for diligent players to come across, if they choose to really delve into the game.
          
          making everything superficial I think will really backfire. explanations are there for careful players. making souls 2 very shallow is really going to lose a lot of its charm.
          
          but since the torch is being passed to some folks that want it to be an elder scrolls game, is that good or bad? theoretically good, I suppose... ?
