Assassin's Creed 3 DLC killing some saved games
by John Keefer, Dec 06, 2012 11:55am PSTThe recently released Hidden Secrets DLC for Assassin's Creed 3 had one secret that even the developers didn't know about. Some players are reporting that a bug in the pack is deleting their save games, forcing them to replay certain content.
According to posts on the official Ubisoft forums (via Gamespot), the DLC is erasing the progress in the game. Ubisoft community developer Gabe Graziani said the bug is tied to players trying to load a save game while downloading the DLC in the background. He added that the problem appears to be affecting "a very small number of players," but Ubisoft wants to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
The Hidden Secrets DLC includes three missions that were previously only available via pre-orders, and adds about an hour of gameplay.
