Company of Heroes 2 trailer shows turning point of war

Company of Heroes 2 takes place on the Eastern front during World War II, featuring some of the bloodiest battles of World War II. A new trailer for the game from THQ shows off the "Turning Point" of the war from the Russian perspective.

Company of Heroes 2 takes place on the Eastern front during World War II, featuring some of the bloodiest battles of World War II. A new trailer for the game from THQ shows off the "Turning Point" of the war from the Russian perspective.

Brutal winter, snipers, frozen lakes swallowing tanks and humans, and some large firefights all get screen time. The PC-only title, coming from THQ's Relic Entertainment division, is scheduled to come out in March.

      Also love how it's the 2005 CoH engine that was slightly updated for DoW2 xD

        unfortunately MOW went a little to heavy on the realisticness of war, imo? I think COH hit the sweet spot on realism and gameplay.

          I'm still gonna vote in favor of Men of War, simply because that game had full campaign co-op (and is the only reason why I still play it, along with it's predecessors, to this day, over and over again).

          Is there any news on if COH will have campaign co-op? I'm sure it'll be fun and I'll play it regardless, but I'll always consider it inferior until that's confirmed.

        How was online multiplayer on the first game?

        There's master servers?
        It allows for hosting your own server and friends can join?

        Requires port forwarding on the router?

        Hamachi needed?

      They shouldn't show those first-person cinematic angles that make it look like a poor man's FPS in the graphics department. Instead, they should show more of the overhead RTS view, because the few seconds of that look great and intricately detailed.
