End of Nations open beta delayed indefinitely
by John Keefer, Nov 28, 2012 10:15am PSTTrion Worlds has already held four closed betas for its upcoming free-to-play MMORTS End of Nations, but apparently there are still plenty of troublesome issues to be worked out. The company has announced that the planned open beta for the game has been delayed indefinitely.
In a post on the game's official Facebook page, Trion explained that "While we received an incredible amount of positive feedback, the Closed Beta tests also identified several key areas of the game which need polish and improvement." There still is no announced release date for the game.
Players who have already purchased the game through Founders or Collector's Editions will be offered refunds. According to an email sent to pre-purchasers (via The Escapist): "We will automatically process a refund for your purchase shortly. You will receive an email confirmation of the transaction once your refund has been completed."
The game is being developed by Petroglyph, founded by several Westwood Studios veterans who worked on the original Command & Conquer games.
