How the Black Ops 2 live-action 'Surprise' trailer was made

by John Keefer, Nov 27, 2012 2:45pm PST

Yeah, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is already out, and doing incredibly well in sales already, but that hasn't stopped Activision from dropping a new video on us, albeit a pretty good one. We get a behind-the-scenes look at how the live-action-trailer-turned-TV-spot was created.

Starring such notables as Robert Downey, Jr., iJustine and FPS Russia, and directed by Guy Ritchie, the trailer took a comical look at the one-upsmanship in the game and how someone in the game is always better. Ritchie said that "each revelation should trump the last revelation" of who is in the crosshairs.

If you are one of the few who haven't followed the game, you can check out our single-player and multiplayer reviews.
