Far Cry 3 trailer shows off map editor
by Alice O'Connor, Nov 26, 2012 4:30pm PSTMaking your own Far Cry 3 maps will be as simple as slopping down some terrain, painting on foliage, then plopping in plops. Ubisoft today released a new trailer for the open-world FPS's in-game map editor, which will let players make levels for multiplayer and single-player.
While FC3's seems primarily for making multiplayer maps, you will be able to slap in enemies to make a single-player level too. You can upload your creations for others to download and rate. Far Cry 2 boasted a pretty snazzy editor, but it's looking even better in 3.
Developed by Ubisoft Montreal, Far Cry 3 comes to PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 next week, on December 4. Check out our glowing review of the single-player campaign.
