MLB 13 The Show coming March 5
by Steve Watts, Nov 26, 2012 12:00pm PSTMLB 13 The Show is coming to PlayStation 3 and Vita on March 5, 2013, just before the baseball season kicks off spring training. And for the first time, fans will be able to pick the cover athlete for this year's box, similar to EA's recent Madden titles. The voting will start in January.
Other new features mentioned on the PlayStation Blog include a Playoff Mode for those late-season matches, a beginner mode and better instructions for newcomers, more options for the Road to the Show mode, and a more streamlined Play Now mode for a quicker pick-up-and-play experience.
Like last year's game, the next version will let you sync your game between the PS3 and Vita, and the blog promises platform parity between the two. No word yet if the game will support Sony's Cross-Buy initiative, though.
