Planetside 2 launch trailer focuses on huge battles
by John Keefer, Nov 20, 2012 12:00pm PSTSony Online Entertainment's FPS PlanetSide 2 launches today on PC, and a new trailer shows just how massive the MMO can be. Players are able to jump into futuristic vehicles and gear, and start killing the enemy on the planet Auraxis without dropping a dime.
SOE has vowed the free-to-play game would not be pay-to-win, assuring players that everything that impacts gameplay is unlockable. Paying players basically are rewarded by saving them time through increased experience or resources, and priority logins.
