PlayStation All-Stars getting free Gravity Rush, Starhawk DLC
by Steve Watts, Nov 15, 2012 9:30am PSTSony has announced the first additional characters coming to PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. While much of the game pays homage to classic mascots from Sony's deep bench, these two are both from more recent games that have only come out in the last year: Kat from Gravity Rush and Emmett Graves from Starhawk. Both are set to hit early next year.
The PlayStation Blog gives a few details on the characters' play styles. Kat will use her gravity-bending powers to become a very aerial-focused attacker. Emmett will use his Starhawk weapons, along with the "Build in Battle" system to call down structures from the air.
Both characters will be available for free for the first two weeks. If you claim them during that window, you'll have them forever. If you miss it, on the other hand, prepare to pay up for them. Sony promises that other DLC characters will be coming as well, so start thinking up other Sony franchises that are unaccounted for and place your bets.
