Whore of the Orient to be 'similar' to L.A. Noire
by John Keefer, Nov 14, 2012 4:15pm PSTWhore of the Orient, Team Bondi's follow-up to the stylish L.A. Noire, is apparently in pre-production and is expected to be "similar" to its predecessor, according to some job listings uncovered by super sleuth superannuation. The title will supposedly go into full production next year.
The job listings (via Kotaku) say the game will be in the style of L.A. Noire and will be "narrative action adventure title." It will also use the MotionScan technology utilized in the previous game. The game is targeted for a 2015 release, although Superannuation speculates that the timetable might be a bit ambitious, given that L.A. Noire took seven years to develop.
Whore of the Orient will be set in Shangahi in the 1930s. The game is being designed for next-gen consoles and PC and will be published by Warner Bros.
