Borderlands 2 coming to Mac November 20
by Steve Watts, Nov 08, 2012 3:00pm PSTApple fans are about to get their loot fix, as Borderlands 2 is coming to the Mac OS on November 20. The port is being handled by Aspyr Media, the studio that has Mac-ified games like Call of Duty: Black Ops and Civilization V.
The game will keep its drop-in-drop-out co-op intact for up to four players. The announcement didn't detail whether additional content, like the Mechromancer character or subsequent downloadable content, will be making its way to the platform.
"Aspyr prides itself on bringing the best in gaming to the Mac audience," said Aspyr VP Ted Staloch, in the announcement. "Borderlands 2 is definitely among the best. Most sequels have a hard time living up to the first, but Borderlands 2 manages to improve on every cool aspect of Borderlands, and still finds a way to wrap the player up in a new story with a new experience."
