by Steve Watts, Nov 08, 2012 3:30pm PSTThe clever folks at Blizzard have come up with their own way to help support the victims of Sandy by utilizing the World of Warcraft audience. The company will begin selling a pet for charity soon. And of course it's an adorable kitten, because this is the Internet.
The Cinder Kitten will cost $10, and Blizzard promises every penny will go toward the Red Cross to provide food, shelter, emotional support, and other assistance to Sandy victims. A similar charity pet for Japan's tsunami and earthquake relief raised $1.9 million last year.
Blizzard says it will share more details on when and how to purchase the pet in the coming weeks, but in the meantime you can still toss a little cash toward the Red Cross just to be a nice person.
