Fans of classic Steven Seagal movie Under Siege, your prayers have been answered. Fans of classic Steven Seagal movie Under Siege, your prayers have been answered. Dead Island Riptide publisher Deep Silver today unveiled the zombie FPS-RPG's new fifth playable character, and he's the closest we may ever get to seeing old Steve's character star in a video game--a Navy cook with furious fists of martial arts fury. "For years he has trained himself - and become a master - in hand-to-hand combat," Deep Silver explained. "His career in the US Navy has not taken off as he originally had envisioned, so he spends his time as a cook on a military ship. Little does he know that soon he will have to bring his skills into practice when the ship nears the island of Palanai..." I quote this lengthy piece of fluff text purely so I can then state my hopes that he'll crack plenty of culinary puns as he cracks zombie skulls with his powerful kung-fu grip. Riptide lurches at PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on April 23, 2013, developed by creator Techland. Yes, of course there's a Special Edition.

Mind your head, John. John. John! Fine then. But this is where zombies come from.

I think they should continue with the super emotional promo trailers that have nothing to do with the tone of the game. Only in this one they have the parents turn in front of their child's eyes and start eating the child.

You didn't play the first game, did you? There were many emotional scenes: a daughter having to put down her turned father, husband asking you to put wife out of her misery, etc. It's a very welcome addition to the standard bashing of faceless hordes in this genre
