Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition will be available for PlayStation Plus members starting tomorrow.

If you need to wash the taste of Resident Evil 6 out of your mouth, try this: play Resident Evil 5 instead. This not-so-terrible co-op shooter will join the PlayStation Plus Instant Game line-up, making it "free" for all active subscribers.

The gratis version is the "Gold Edition" of the game, which includes all DLC content released for the game (such as the scandalous costumes seen above). This version also supports PlayStation Move.

Other PlayStation Plus discounts available tomorrow include Portal 2, discounted to only $13.99. You'll also be able to download the "In Motion" DLC for Move for $6.99.

When Vikings Attack, a cross-buy action game for PS3 and Vita will also be discounted to $6.99. One purchase unlocks both versions of the game.

Finally, Absolute Supercars, a racing game featuring Ferraris and Aston Martins, will be available for only $7.99.

It has been on the Euro PS Store for the best part of a fortnight.

Finally, another halfway decent (if old) retail release comes to US PS+ subscribers. Still a huge discrepancy between the US and EU PS+ freebies though.

Not on my console it isn't. It's still ONLY the 1 hour free trial.

Yes, the PlayStation Store updates every Tuesday evening. Sorry if that wasn't clearer.

LoL, no it's completely my fault. I'm still a little new to the PSN and read the article just before going in to work. I jumped to conclusions and was excited about getting RE5 for FREE.
