DmC: Devil May Cry adds one hit kill difficulty mode

How hardcore will DmC: Devil May Cry be? Maybe a bit too much, if you ask us.

As in previous Devil May Cry games, DmC has a number of difficulty modes you can unlock after completing the game. In addition to the standard modes (Human, Devil Hunter, and Nephilim), you'll be able to challenge yourself in these special controller-breaking modes.

Son of Sparda introduces tougher enemies with remixed enemy layouts. Not too bad, right? The next level up is Dante Must Die, which introduces the strongest enemies and "insane attack waves." Okay, that might be rough...

Heaven or Hell makes everything (including Dante) die after one hit. Capcom-Unity calls it "supremely satisfying"--probably because the game essentially turns into a lengthy Bushido Blade session. Finally, there's Hell and Hell mode, where only Dante dies after one hit.

We're pretty certain the Platinum Trophy for this game is going to be impossible to get. Even if you did manage to beat Devil May Cry 3...
