by Steve Watts, Oct 30, 2012 5:35pm PDTWe're approaching the end of the calendar year, which means it's time for publishers to start putting stakes in the ground for next year's releases. Dead Island Riptide has broken out of the gate, with a release date of April 23, 2013 in North America.
Of course, Dead Island Riptide will be available in a "limited" Special Edition, which adds digital extras to help you survive. The SE will include exclusive weapon mods, a digital strategy map, and a unique character skin.

If it's a sequel, it's a very bad idea not having the number '2' in the title of the game.
Haven't really been following this as I previously just ignored it as DLC.
