Weekend PC download deals: Halloween sales

It's another fine weekend for bargain downloadable PC games, between Halloween, some tasty bundles, and just plain old sales. You'll find Rock of Ages for $3, Super Meat Boy for $4, Killing Floor for $5, Left for Dead 2 for $5, Amnesia for $5, Legend of Grimrock for $8, BioShock 1 and 2 for $8, Dead Island GotY for $10, The Walking Dead for $15, Mass Effect 3 for $20, Sleeping Dogs for $25, Borderlands 2 for $38, and loads more bargains.

Get Games

Until 8am Pacific on Saturday:


Get any two of the following games for $15:

  • Batman: Arkham City GotY

  • Darksiders (Steam)

  • IL-2 Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover (Steam)

As well as regular discounts, GOG is running a pay what you want sale on 32 Interplay games. Pay over 1¢ to get 8 games, above the average to get 20, and $34.99 or more for all 32.

Green Light Bundle

Pay what you want for a bundle of games hoping to get approved on Steam Greenlight. Pay at least $1 to get Pixel Blocked!, Omegalodon, and Starlaxis - Light Hunter. Go above $5 and you'll get Call of Cthullu: The Wasted Land, Dawn of Fantasy, Oniken, Perpetuum, General Conflict, and some DLC for Awesomenauts (but not the game itself). Do remember to vote them up on Greenlight if you like them.

Green Man Gaming


Indie Gala

Pay what you want for Omegalodon, Praetorians, Majesty 2, and East India Company. Pay above the average price to also get Europa Universalis: Rome - Gold Edition, Knights of Honor, Elven Legacy, Hearts of Iron 3 Complete, King's Crusade, and another two yet-unrevealed games. Most can be activated on Steam.

Indie Royale

Pay what you want for Home, Pathologic, MacGuffin's Curse, EvilQuest, and the full season of Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse. Some are Steam-y. You get a chiptune album too if you pay above $8.

Square Enix


As well as being on sale all weekend, Left 4 Dead 2 and Rock of Ages are both free for everyone to play until 1pm Pacific on Sunday. Click here to install L4D2 through Steam, and here for RoA.
