Before I share the straw that broke the camels back I'd like to make a few points. I started listening to 1up Yours and followed Garnett here. Kinnata is great, his rational opinions and thoughts are a pleasure to listen to.
Andrea is the dullest, most terribly informed dimwit who apparently has has no history of game playing and therefore no frame of reference and I have just had enough of her. I don't play many games myself but I don't appear on podcast.
I'm sorry Garnett, I know you get touchy about "your baby" but the fact is your put that baby in a sack, chucked a brick in too then hurled it into a pond.

She's an absolute joke and terrible hypocrite to boot. It's too late for me, I won't be listening to your podcast again but I'd like to wish Jeff K luck with whatever he does and thank him for the hours of entertainment he gave me. Garnett, thank you too.. I sometimes thought you were a total douche but at least you have a good knowledge of your subject.
I discovered the Bombcast around E3 and it was so refreshing to listen to people discussing games without the constant, inane input from uninformed imbeciles.... I leave you all with this thought:
"but the Wii U doesn't even play CDs"

Your podcast has been declining in quality for a long time. Jeff is excellent, as was Brian and you're the reason I started listening (I rarely agree with you but I respect your opinions).
The bombcast is a much better production because; in my opinion, the guys there have great chemistry and all have genuine and deep history with gaming from which they can draw their opinions. Andrea does not, but that doesn't stop her from talking over the people that do which I find infuriating.
Don't think that this is because she is female because it isn't. You had a young lady guest in the summer who was funny, well informed and fantastic.
I miss the days gone by when it was you, John, Shane and Luke and while Jeff C (apologies for getting your name wrong Jeff (but at least I remembered 2xn 1xt)) is excellent it's shame you couldn't find people of a similar calibre.
That first WiiU discussion was horrendous, an absolute insult to your listeners. I havn't owned a Nintendo console in a decade and have no intention of buying a WiiU but the shallow ill-infomrmed criticisms were painful to listen to. I nearly made that my last download, against my better judgement I came back and listened to the following episode to see what response you'd give the feedback and to hear Jeff's opinions . Well, I'm sorry I won't be back.
I was expecting a reply like this from you (if you were to respond at all). It's too late for me, I won't listen again.. but I'll stick around here to read the replies for a few days. Perhaps all of this criticism will drive changes that prevent others from jumping ship. perhaps it's unfair to criticise without offering some advice so here goes.
Drop Andrea as soon as you can.
Get at least one more contributor (with a gaming heritage they don't need to be in their 30's, hell I'm not but I have still played alot of the major releases for the major systems) who is there every week or at least as regular as Jeff.
Drop the tailgate. I get it. You guys like American football (I'm English so its not for me) why not have a segment where you just talk about "whatever" , you know just shoot the sh!t? - It helps the listener get a better understanding of your personalities and your On-Subject opinions will be better understood as a result.
Please talk to the guys at Giant Bomb because I'd like to hear from you again, the same goes for you Jeff!!
