Fuck, if I wanted CNN news stories i would goto CNN.com or whatever. I would like to see more gaming related shit around here. Serious Sam could get more coverage. The big patch for voodoo 3->5 cards came out and we get a cheap little blurb with 32 comments? Carmageddon TDR2000 should get coverage here. The engine for this game rocks. They need to tweak a few things, (they pushed the release date back a few months to solve these issues) but with internet play, TDR2000 will kick major ass. Shit, Vampire gets full news items around here. I guess we only get major coverage for the games Steve and Jack like? What about Motorcross Madness2? That game rocks.

By the way, the patch for SS works like a fucking charm. HUGE outdoor fights with 30-50 enemies and it runs beautifully.

I don't understand what problems you guys having with people racing (motorbikes, cars, etc).. It's hellaciously fun and you don't get the same thrill from playing Quake3. I've never played Quake3 and actually _felt_ my adrenaline rush. And as long as you know the abilities of your car and yourself, and traffic is really light (1am or later on most roads), you're not risking anyone but yourself and the other driver (who also knows the risks). Being one of the top scorers at a LAN game doesn't feel as good as sitting behind the seat of a 1998 Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster.... "convertible" (more like a moonroof.. it's got a hard top and it slides back over the motor a little)... 536HP from a 5.7 litre 48 valve V12... 245's up front and 335's in the rear.. AWD that hauls your ass to 60mph well under 4 seconds... a car that can hit over 180mph in a single mile stretch of road.. Not to mention it's one of the most beautiful cars on the road. And the sound the intake fans make when you switch them on.. man.. it's almost as good as listening to a huge turbo spool up and the blowoff valve let loose when you powershift into 2nd. Yea sure, gibbing a guy with a rocket is great an all, but it's not nearly as exhilirating. Of course, all that being said, a Honda CBR600F4 or Yamaha YZFR1 could tear that Diablo a new asshole until they hit about 120-130mph.

Hhehehehe.... Car and Driver had a shown-down with one of the big sport bike mags a year or so back. Viper vs. some insane 180hp Yamaha on a real road course.

The Viper won. Why? The driver of the bike complained about a patch of gravel made him slow down so he didn't kill himself. One little patch of gravel, and suddenly you see your death and your bike becomes utterly useless. Well, about as useful as a alcohol burning dragster.

Cars (even Vipers and Ferrari F50s) are 10 times more pratical than sports bikes. You can at least drive a Viper in the rain. Try maintaining grip on a bike that has 1/40th the road contact area with almost no tread pattern and 1/8 the weight of a car on anything BUT perfectly flat, dry, and warm pavement.

EXACTLY. The only thing sports bikes are good for is lowering your life expectancy and out dragging sports cars on perfect sunny summer days.

I hate banks and those stupid fees, i once withdrew my money and forgot about that fee, my bank account was at -$1.50, and my banks policy is if you are overdrawn by the time you get the monthly statement you pay them 20 bux as a penalty fee, needless to say i yelled at a lot of ppl and the closed my account.
