Penny Arcade 3 mobile editions and free DLC hit this week

Thursday's a big day Penny Arcade's On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 3. As well as launching Mac, Android and iOS editions of its retro webcomic RPG, developer Zeboyd Games is belatedly releasing the second free DLC pack on PC and Xbox 360, The Lair of the Seamstress.

Intended for level 40+ characters, The Lair of the Seamstress adds a new dungeon crammed full of "some of the hardest boss battles in the game." It adds new zombie costumes for the gang too.

"The mobile versions are great with much better touch controls this time around than they were with the Cthulhu Saves the World port," Zebody said in the announcement.

As for the Mac edition, that'll be a Steamplay title, so you'll receive it for free if you already own the PC version, or get it for PC too when you buy it for Mac. It costs $5.

Looking further ahead, the final piece of DLC is due in December and said to be the biggest yet. Lastly, beyond that, the concluding fourth part of the series is expected in early 2013.
