BioShock Infinite trailer shows off sky-city of Columbia
by John Keefer, Oct 22, 2012 4:30pm PDTAs promised, Irrational Games has unleashed a new trailer for its upcoming BioShock Infinite, which takes the series from its previous underwater home of Rapture and sets it skyward to a huge city in the sky called Columbia.
The Beast of America video, featuring the song Beast by Nico Vega, gives you a closer look at the city, while also spotlighting a few of the tools you will use and some of the enemies you will battle. It also shows how the character Elizabeth can offer you assistance in certain situations.
The single-player-only game is planned to come out on PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 on February 26. Pre-orders are already being accepted, and a puzzle game called BioShock Infinite: Industrial Revolution will also be included with the pre-orders. By playing it, you'll be able to unlock three "exclusive gear items," including Handyman Nemesis, Sugar Rush, and Fleet Feet. You'll also unlock in-game cash whilst learning about the city of Columbia.
