I honestly have no idea. I'm not very concerned with metrics, as I know I only write amazing posts about amazing things so if they don't 'do well' then it's the world that's sick.

Buy it for $8, play the first 1/3rd of the game (stop once you hit the city). Great times will be had.

Having fun with it so far, but a couple of HUGE issues (mostly control-based):

Thug zombies are annoying as fuck to fight melee. Fuck them.
        Movement and jumping are floaty.
Weapons wear down way too quickly.
The checkpoint system is broken. I drove across the island with a fucking cannister of gas, made the mistake of going through a "portal" (that was never properly explained), and it despawned my vehicle with the cannister. Had to redo the entire thing. Fuck that.
It feels like every quest sends you to the exact opposite side of the island. So. Much. Walking.

Trick to fighting a thug is to whack him then back the fuck up fast.

It's astoundingly good, if you buy into the atmosphere. It also has a technical issue with 7.1 sound, you may have to play in stereo.

Thanks again, Alice. However, I think you might be a little off on the GOG.com sale. It's pay what you want for the first eight games; pay above the average to get the next twelve also; and pay $35 to get the full GOG Interplay catalog. (I believe it's to the nearest dollar, so if the average is $14.15 you have to pay $15 to beat it.)

No problem. They didn't make it very clear - I stared at the screen and scratched my head for a few minutes before I figured out just what I was buying.

You can actually click the dollar amount on the right which turns it into a field to edit. Also not really clear, but that way if you want to only pay the minimum needed for any given tier...

When you're not flat broke, put 20 or 40 or 100 dollars into your paypal account. Then when cash is tight, you can still maybe get something if there's a big sale.

Also, when I get amazon gift certs, I don't use them all up at once. They never expire, so they pretty much buy most of my kindle books.

I ended up buying Payday and it's DLC for $7.50, The Bard's Tale (with 3 original titles) for $2.50, Dead Island for $8, Alpha Protocol for $5, The Darkness 2 for $6 and Zombie Driver HD for $5.

With good savings comes good games!
